What is Baptize My Heart Lord?

To read and truly understand the Bible, with all of your heart, soul, and mind, you must first come to know, believe and accept Jesus Christ into your heart as the Savior of your soul.

If you are inspired to do so after reading that last paragraph I encourage you to either reach out to someone who believes or you can also go to my page “I Want to Accept Jesus Into My Heart” (still in the works) for more info. Or feel free to write me by reaching out to me through my Contact Page https://baptizemyheartlord.com/contact/

Being a believer also means to be living a life worthy of Christ Jesus. I’ll tell you from my own personal experience, when I am in a backslidden state, absorbed and focused on self and sin, I don’t hear much from God. When I am living my life with Jesus as my center and my focus is to live my life for Him, I hear Him and when I read the Word He shows me much more.

As you read the Word on a daily basis you will come to know that it is FULL of symbolism! I remember when I first came to believe in Jesus at the age of 11 or 12 I was suddenly on FIRE for His Word. Of course, being so young and spiritually immature, I wanted to know the future so I flipped to the Book of Revelation and read it in its entirety. I remember feeling a sense of disappointment as I read about beasts, candles, rivers, locusts, 1/3 of everything dying off, trumpets, horses, and much more, and not having a clue what it meant. I wondered why God didn’t make it more clear since my heart was literally set ablaze wanting to know Him more.

Over the years I began reading and studying more, on my own along with church groups. I’ve come to understand the Types and Symbols in the Bible and it is my most LOVED part of reading the Word, to be honest!

The types and symbols in the Bible are God’s way of revealing deep Spiritual truths to His children. Most commonly these deep spiritual truths are ones that point to Jesus Christ and to the life we are about to begin living as we commit ourselves to Follow Him. It’s important to find other scripture that backs up what the symbol means OR even looking in a Bible Types/Symbols Reference Book. Otherwise, people can just make up stuff. ALWAYS, do research on what someone is telling you about the Bible if you aren’t sure.

These posts are from my own personal journals that I’ve made over the years while reading the Bible. Truths would pop out at me when I read, so I would write it down, every little thing He gave me through His Word. Those are the posts under the category of “Symbolization.”

I’ve also included entries straight from my personal journal as they contain prayers I’ve made to God, things God has said to me while in prayer along with visions He has given me while in prayer. I never wanted to forget these things so I made sure to write them down! These are under the Category “Personal Journal Entries.”

I am a gal who lives in the Bay Area, CA. This site is not meant to be about me but rather it is about what God has shown and continues to show me in His Word and when I am in prayer with Him. I hope these entries inspire you to seek His Face, He desires you to do so and even if you don't think so...it is also what your heart and soul have longed for since birth. Over the years I wrote down every sort of spiritual revelation that would pop out at me when reading the Bible. I thought to myself, "what do you want me to d with all this, Lord?" That's when it hit me! Why not start a blog and put everything He has given you on there. And so I did.
