Symbolization: The Awakening, the Refiner’s Fire

Original Entry Date 10/30/2017: No greater love than the love of Christ Jesus. It awakens my heart from its deep sleep . It awakens my spirit from the dead.
Hear me Lord.
Hear my cry for You. Let me hear You again, let me feel Your presence again. Bring me back from the dead.

Original Entry Date 10/5/2020: Almost exactly 3 years later, I re-read the passage I wrote last, just above. Honestly, I have been in a deep sleep. Through deep pain of the heart and soul does God awaken me from the dead.
Today, God put it in my heart to read Ezekiel’s vision of Him.
Let’s read Ezekiel 1:4 NKJV:  Then I looked, and behold, a whirlwind was coming out of the north, a great cloud with raging fire engulfing itself; and brightness was all around it and radiating out of its midst like the color of amber, out of the midst of the fire.
Here we see Ezekiel’s description of his first view of God as He comes from a distance – A great cloud with fire engulfing itself. This connects with Moses and when he first sees God in the Burning Bush.
Let’s read Exodus 3:2 NKJV: And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed.
God is in the bush, engulfed with fire, but it was not consumed by it.
I hear God speak, “You will be burned with fire but not consumed.” And I understood that He means to be refined…I will be refined by His fire but not consumed.

Original Entry Date 10/11/2020: Back to the Burning Bush, The Angel of the Lord appeared to Moses in flame of fire from the midst of a bush. This symbolizes when God’s Spirit is within us….we are filled with His Fire, being transformed into the likeness of Him…2 Corinthians 3:18 AMP: And we all, with unveiled face, continually seeing as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are progressively being transformed into His image from [one degree of] glory to [even more] glory, which comes from the Lord, [who is] the Spirit.
…being refined but not consumed.
