Symbolization: The Voice of The Lord

Original Entry Date 2/25/2016: Lets read Psalms 29:7 NRSV:
The voice of the Lord flashes forth flames of fire.
When reading this I feel a connection between this and with Cherubim that God places as a guard over the Tree of Life:
Genesis 3:24 NIV: After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.
The Word of the Lord is symbolized throughout scripture as a sword. Here is a weapon stronger than any other in the battle of spiritual warfare:
Ephesians 6:17 NIV: Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
So strong that Jesus will use it to destroy the enemy in the end times:
Revelation 2:16 NIV: Repent therefore! Otherwise, I will soon come to you and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
