Original Entry Date 3/6/2021: I’ve had this in my heart for about a week now but today it came to fruition! It literally blew me away!
I’ve been reading the Gospel of Luke and I was reading the portion where the Pharisees were asking Jesus when the Kingdom of God was coming and by what sign. He then tells them that there will be no signs because they were literally missing the point that Jesus is the Kingdom and He is right there in their midst.
He then reveals to His disciples a critical point.
Luke 17:22-23 NKJV:
Then He said to the disciples, “The days will come when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it. 23 And they will say to you, ‘Look here!’ or ‘Look there!’ Do not go after them or follow them.
Just like today, we yearn for His return GREATLY but we must wait in faith and not be led astray by the many that will claim to be Christ.
Jesus then discloses what His return will be like. Luke 17:24 NKJV: For as the lightning that flashes out of one part under heaven shines to the other part under heaven, so also the Son of Man will be in His day.
In other words, Jesus is saying NO ONE will “miss” His return because it will be as a great, flash of lightning that crosses from one end of Heaven to the other!
I could NOT stop myself from crying when I flipped to the vison of God in Ezekiel 1 and read verses 13-14.
Ezekiel 1:13-14 HCSB:
The form of the living creatures was like the appearance of burning coals of fire and torches. Fire was moving back and forth between the living creatures; it was bright, with lightning coming out of it. 14 The creatures were darting back and forth like flashes of lightning.
Here is a symbolization of how Christ will return in the very vision of God that Ezekiel saw! Just as the 4 Living Creatures dart back and forth like great flashes of Lightning so will the return of Jesus be!
Amen! OMG, God, You AMAZE ME! You touch my heart in a way that no one can! God placed Ezekiel’s vision of Him on my heart last October 2020. I asked Him to show me what all of it means…I remember reading it in October and crying, yearning so bad to see Him and to be in His presence instead of here (just as Jesus was telling the disciples in Luke 17:22 as stated above). All this makes me cry, I feel TRULY LOVED and my heart FULLY understood…and to feel it from the One who created it all is such an overwhelming feeling…with how much rejection I’ve endured…He knows, He is my Healer.
I feel like I knew the connection between Luke and Ezekiel perhaps in my subconscious I knew. What gave me the Light Bulb moment was when I was on a walk earlier this evening, I was listening to a song called “Turn on the Light” by Joann Mcfatter and the Light LITERALLY went on as she sings about Ezekiel’s vision of God:

There is another connection; Here are the 4 Living creatures with fire and lightning moving between them (or as the CEV reads for part of verse 13 “…I saw something like a flaming torch moving back and forth among them…” as they move to and fro like flashing lightning…and then we have Jesus who’s return will be as a tremendous flash of lightning across all of the heavens. He is coming to take rule over His Kingdom because He was the One set by God to guard the Tree of Life after the fall of man.
Genesis 3:24 NIV:
After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.
Here Jesus is symbolized by the cherubim and the flaming, flashing sword guarding the tree of life. Jesus is the one we must all come to heart to heart with to take part in the tree of life.
So I’m rushing, trying to get my butt to bed because it’s so late and I hear God talk to me some more!
I’m brushing my teeth and He says “the eyes of the Lord run to and fro across the earth…”
I knew He was telling me about the eyes on the wheels in Ezekiels vision! I was going to put it on the back burner of my mind but then He kept saying it and I kept saying it so I decided to notate it here real quick.
Ezekiels vision of the wheels-
“Now as I looked at the living creatures, behold, a wheel was on the earth beside each living creature with its four faces. The appearance of the wheels and their workings was like the color of beryl, and all four had the same likeness. The appearance of their workings was, as it were, a wheel in the middle of a wheel. When they moved, they went toward any one of four directions; they did not turn aside when they went. As for their rims, they were so high they were awesome; and their rims were full of eyes, all around the four of them.”
Ezekiel 1:15-18 NKJV
So the eyes of the wheels have a connection the eyes of the Lord seeking people upon the earth who will do His will. The first part of
II Chronicles 16:9 NKJV:
For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him…
🙂 LOOK!!! The eyes moving to & fro and torches – awhile ago I connected the Lord’s eyes moving to & fro with the seven spirits of God and the candlestick with seven flames{torches-eyes} ….
Revelation 5:6 NASB
And I saw between the throne (with the four living creatures) and the elders a Lamb standing, as if slaughtered, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.
Zechariah 4:10 AMPC
Who [with reason] despises the day of small things? For these seven shall rejoice when they see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel. [These seven] are the eyes of the Lord which run to and fro throughout the whole earth.
=>The 7 eyes & 7 spirits of God connect with the 7 branched candlestick{Zech 4 vision} which has 7 flames(torches)
=> This made me think there is a scripture which has the Lord’s eyes as torches !!!!!LOOK!!!
Daniel 10:6 AMP
His body also was like beryl [with a golden luster], his face had the appearance of lightning, his eyes were like flaming torches, his arms and his feet like the gleam of burnished bronze, and the sound of his words was like the noise of a multitude [of people or the roaring of the sea].

There’s more – I knew Revelation 5 was a picture of the Lamb in the center of the throne – the center of worship inhabited by the Lord – surrounded by His people singing a new song – I never noticed before the 4 living creatures also in the center — actually between the Lamb & Elders also worshipping.
=> as the eyes of the Lord move thru the earth — the throne moves too with these 4 living creatures worshipping
=>Look what else happens
Isaiah 6:1-4
In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple. 2 Above him were seraphim, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. 3 And they were calling to one another:
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty;
the whole earth is full of his glory.”
4 At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke.
=>the temple filled with smoke from His glory-believers are the temple of the Holy Spirit …
