Personal Journal: Seeping Water

Original Entry Date 12/3/2012: I Had a vision of water seeping into the cracks of the ground and I heard Him say, “My Living Water seeps into the cracks.”
A verse in Jeremiah came to my mind.

Jeremiah 2:13 NKJV:
“For My people have committed two evils:
They have forsaken Me, the fountain of living waters,
And hewn themselves cisterns—broken cisterns that can hold no water.

(3/11/2021: Short entry, but I have these sometimes where it’s just a quick note God gave me. I’m reading this and I’m like “what is a cistern?” Let’s read another version, same verse—
NLV: “For My people have done two sinful things: They have turned away from Me, the well of living waters. And they have cut out of the rock wells for water for themselves. They are broken wells that cannot hold water.

WELLS!! Well isn’t that interesting?!? We’ve been talking about wells a lot lately. Wells to get refreshment from, the Well of Living Water, Jesus.
So here in Jeremiah God is speaking against these wells that His people have dug; they’ve turned from Him and are looking for refreshment in other things, idols, etc, when He is the only true quencher of thirst! That is why they are broken, the water seeps out, so they will never be FULL or satisfied, never be able to offer a drink to a fellow friend who has a thrist for God. They thirst for God, themselves, but are blind and cannot hear.
I think that what He was saying to me about His Living Water seeping into the cracks was that wherever we are in our walk, no matter how far we’ve turned from God, digging our own wells, that are broken, He will seep into the cracks if we call upon His Name. When I think of cracks I think of a broken heart…then visions of water seeping into these cracks is as though His Spirit is flowing into that broken heart, sealing and repairing it.)

I am a gal who lives in the Bay Area, CA. This site is not meant to be about me but rather it is about what God has shown and continues to show me in His Word and when I am in prayer with Him. I hope these entries inspire you to seek His Face, He desires you to do so and even if you don't think so...it is also what your heart and soul have longed for since birth. Over the years I wrote down every sort of spiritual revelation that would pop out at me when reading the Bible. I thought to myself, "what do you want me to d with all this, Lord?" That's when it hit me! Why not start a blog and put everything He has given you on there. And so I did.

Ok so I just realized I accidentally skipped two entries lol! I have 3 journals that I’ve used : 1 is my praise journal that’s turned into my vision or conversations I’ve had with God in prayer or just randomly.
2 is strictly my symbolism notes/entries when I’m reading the Word
3 is a small travel sized booklet that I’d bring with me to work and keep there because He was unpredictability yapping stuff to me that I couldn’t remember fully when I got home. Always catching me off guard lol
The thing is, it doesn’t matter if I go out of order because here He is putting it in the correct order, it just always falls into place like that ❤️
