Symbolization: The Sabbath, The Sevenfold Holy Spirit and the Light of the World

This entry was VERY short when I originally wrote it but now,
doing some additional studying on it, God poured me a cup of water that literally overflowed LOL!

Original Entry Date 11/24/2012: Let’s read Exodus 20:8-11 NLT:
8 “Remember to observe the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. 9 You have six days each week for your ordinary work, 10 but the seventh day is a Sabbath day of rest dedicated to the Lord your God. On that day no one in your household may do any work. This includes you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, your livestock, and any foreigners living among you. 11 For in six days the Lord made the heavens, the earth, the sea, and everything in them; but on the seventh day he rested. That is why the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and set it apart as holy.

The Sabbath, the 7th day, a day set apart by God and made Holy. We are filled with His Spirit, God has set us apart to be Holy as He is Holy. There is definitely a correlation between the Sabbath and the Sevenfold Spirit of God!

Let me give a bit of background: The Sevenfold Spirit of God is the literal ANOINTING that the Spirit imparts to us when we begin our new life in Christ Jesus.

Isaiah 11:2 NKJV: The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him,
The Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
The Spirit of counsel and might,
The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.

Once we turn our lives over to Jesus, the Holy Spirit begins a wonderous work inside of us, setting us apart to be made Holy. We are filled with the Light of His Presence and that Light is meant to shine SO BRIGHT that all who are in darkness will see.
Matthew 5:14 NKJV: 14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.

During God’s time of judgment, the earth will be SO FULL of darkness (evil, hearts far from God, death) that the Light of God’s people will shine even brighter:
Isaiah 24:23 NLT: 23 Then the glory of the moon will wane,
and the brightness of the sun will fade,
for the Lord of Heaven’s Armies will rule on Mount Zion.
He will rule in great glory in Jerusalem,
in the sight of all the leaders of his people.

The Sevenfold Spirit of God dispels the darkness and is evident in this specific vision.
Isaiah 30:26 NKJV: Moreover the light of the moon will be as the light of the sun,
And the light of the sun will be sevenfold,
As the light of seven days,
In the day that the Lord binds up the bruise of His people
And heals the stroke of their wound.

As God has completed His judgment upon the earth, the darkness of sin is no longer and the brilliance of His Spirit shines on. This can be taken figuratively by how the moon’s light is now as the sun and the sun’s light is sevenfold.

In the New Jerusalem God and Jesus will be the Light, no more moon or sun (keep in mind we are the Body of Christ a part of the Light)
Isaiah 60:19 NKJV
The sun shall no longer be your light by day,
Nor for brightness shall the moon give light to you;
But the Lord will be to you an everlasting light,
And your God your glory.
20 Your sun shall no longer go down,
Nor shall your moon withdraw itself;
For the Lord will be your everlasting light,
And the days of your mourning shall be ended.

The Sevenfold Spirit that resides in us, sets us apart as Holy just as God set apart the Sabbath Day. It resides in front of the Throne of God as the seven bright torches of LIGHT.

Isaiah 60:1-3 NKJV: Arise, shine;
For your light has come!
And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.
2 For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth,
And deep darkness the people;
But the Lord will arise over you,
And His glory will be seen upon you.
3 The Gentiles shall come to your light,
And kings to the brightness of your rising.

I am a gal who lives in the Bay Area, CA. This site is not meant to be about me but rather it is about what God has shown and continues to show me in His Word and when I am in prayer with Him. I hope these entries inspire you to seek His Face, He desires you to do so and even if you don't think so...it is also what your heart and soul have longed for since birth. Over the years I wrote down every sort of spiritual revelation that would pop out at me when reading the Bible. I thought to myself, "what do you want me to d with all this, Lord?" That's when it hit me! Why not start a blog and put everything He has given you on there. And so I did.
