As I went on my usual walk around the parking lot at work on my break today I noticed that some trees were in full bloom and some were not at all.
I heard God speak to me that just like these trees, the ones that are not in bloom, so are those people who are far away from God.
I recall right before this I had asked Him where I would be if I was still the old me. I knew I’d be obsessing over someone, continuously, with no room for God to be a thought. That person would be my idol or my golden calf and the obsessive thoughts would be a form of worship. All my energy would be put into this and lead me to self-destruction until I replaced all of those obsessions with God.
That is when He told me that if I was still at that place I would be like that barren tree, empty, lifeless, dry.
Now across the way were trees in full bloom, some big, some small and He said that these trees are the people who know Him. They are full of Life and in bloom; some are bigger, some are smaller than others. That is when I saw a big, barren tree and He said that even some barren trees are bigger than others.
Now the blooming trees and barren trees were across from each other. God said, “They face each other so that they see each other so that those who know Me will remember where they have come from and those that are barren will see the Light and come forth and be made alive.”
Interesting the Lord has been speaking to me about A Joyful Blooming Tree.
Guess what?!!!!!!!!
The Joyful Blooming Trees have a scent- a sweet perfume{oil}
=> the mere scent can bring life-revive the trees that appear dead or barren
Job 14:9 … Yet at the scent of water it{a tree in drought} will bud And bring forth branches{shoots} like a {new}plant.
2Corinthians 2:14-15 … But thanks be to God who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and who makes known through us the fragrance[3744] that consists of the knowledge of Him in every place. For we are a sweet aroma[2175] of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing …

Amen! Have you ever met someone and for some reason they just did not like you?! It doesn’t matter how kind, sweet or caring you are towards them…they just do not like you. It’s probably because they smell the scent!!!
