Personal Journal: More about the Gift

Original entry date 12/20/2015: “Ham, Shem and Ram” is the clue God gave to me in regards to The impartation of His gift and what this gift is exactly.

Ham and Shem were the names of 2 of Noah’s sons. Interesting is that Shem is in the lineage of Jesus Christ (read Luke 3:23-38) but Ham was the one who spoke about his father, Noah, being drunk and naked in the tent and was cursed by Noah. God spoke to me that they were the beginning of a new nation.

Ram, I will have to look up and study because I do not know much about him. (5/4/2021: There is barely anything about Ram in the Bible. I believe God was meaning ram as in the animal.)

God also told me that Christ is the WORD because every WORD spoken by God has come and does come to pass. The WORD He spoke of Christ’s coming has come and His second coming will come to pass, as well.

Looking up the names, here is what they mean:

  • Ham: Strong tells us that the Hebrew name “Ham” ( חָם ) means, “hot,” and that it is derived from the same Hebrew primitive root ( חָם ), which means, “hot, warm.”
  • Shem: Strong tells us that the Hebrew name “Shem” ( שֵׁם ) means, “name,” and that it is derived from the same Hebrew primitive root ( שֵׁם ), which means, “name, reputation, fame, glory, memorial, monument.”
  • Ram: Strong’s tells us that the Hebrew name “Ram” means “high, exalted”

(5/4/2021 : Lets look up ram the literal animal in the Bible. Here is how Strongs defines it:

Definition:1) ram
1a) ram (as food)
1b) ram (as sacrifice)
1c) ram (skin dyed red, for tabernacle)
2) pillar, door post, jambs, pilaster
3) strong man, leader, chief
4) mighty tree, terebinth from the same as 193; properly, strength; hence, anything
strong; specifically a chief (politically); also a ram (from
his strength); a pilaster (as a strong support); an oak or
other strong tree:-mighty (man), lintel, oak, post, ram,
tree.

The terebinth tree is interesting! Here is an interesting website article about Terbinth tree symbolism: https://treesymbolism.com/terebinth-tree-symbolism-meaning.html

Here is a snippet I found online about symbolism of rams in the Bible:

Ram Christianity Symbolism

Surprisingly, the ram symbolism in the Bible is not that powerful as the lamb metaphor. The little frail and gentle lamb became the center of the Christian religion, being present throughout the book of salvation.

Jesus Christ is known as the “Lamb of God,” and he redeemed the world sins through his sacrifice. The weak lamb conquered evil by sacrificing his own life. The biblical horn, also called the “horn of salvation,” refers to Jesus, and it highlights the idea of salvation through strength.

The ram in the bush meaning is a strong reassurance that God will always help you as He did with Abraham.

However, the ram bible meaning is strongly connected to the idea of royalty, higher power, and, ultimately, sacrifice. Guardian of the herd, the ram symbols speak of protection and sacrifice.

Rams were among the first animals sacrificed in altars. Thus their Latin name is Aries, which means “altar.”

Among the ram characteristics, an important feature that became iconic for the Christians and Jewish people as well are the horns.

The spiritual meaning of horns is associated with the worshipping rituals and the altars. The shofar used to announce the Jewish celebrations is made from the horn of the ram.)

I am a gal who lives in the Bay Area, CA. This site is not meant to be about me but rather it is about what God has shown and continues to show me in His Word and when I am in prayer with Him. I hope these entries inspire you to seek His Face, He desires you to do so and even if you don't think so...it is also what your heart and soul have longed for since birth. Over the years I wrote down every sort of spiritual revelation that would pop out at me when reading the Bible. I thought to myself, "what do you want me to d with all this, Lord?" That's when it hit me! Why not start a blog and put everything He has given you on there. And so I did.

The “ram” is “seen” and “provided” on the mountain of the Lord – place of sacrifice{the altar?}.
=>makes me think this play on words
=>ProVision seen on the mountain of the Lord. 🙂
    .
Genesis 22:14 AMP … So Abraham named that place “The Lord Will Provide”. And it is said to this day, “On the mountain of the Lord it will be seen and provided.”
    .
    From http://classic.net.bible.org/verse.php?book=gen&chapter=22&verse=14

    The–LORD–Will–Provide[03070] = Jehovah-jireh = “Jehovah sees”
*from [03068] and [07200]; Jehovah will see (to it) => the Lord sees and provides for the necessities of His servants
    .
    * a symbolical name for Mount Moriah => Here Solomon’s temple was built, on the spot that had been the threshing-floor of Ornan the Jebusite (2 Sam. 24:24, 25; 2 Chr. 3:1
=>”Mount Moriah” of the Chronicles is identical with the “mountain” in “the land of Moriah” of Genesis, and that the spot on which Jehovah appeared to David, and on which the temple was built, was the very spot of the sacrifice of Isaac.
=> now covered by “Dome of the Rock”
    .
provided[07200] = seen, looked at, perceived, have vision
