Original Entry Date 1/14/2016: As I walked home from the gym I pulled out my phone, which was in a plastic sandwich bag. I turned on the flashlight and the light reflected back as the dark stripe on the bag covered the light and the pathway up the driveway was hard to see. I felt the Holy Spirit speak to me how the dark strip represented sin: bitterness, anger, jealousy, pride, etc., and how it blocks the Light. When I adjusted the bag so the light shone through the clear plastic, the light lit up my pathway.
In prayer I heard, Papa God remind me of this and He said, “Be transparent.” as in be transparent with Him and all the muck will be cast aside so the Light that is in me will shine on the path so I, myself, and others may see.
