Here is a short span of 4 days in which I wrote in my Journal one reason a day as to why I love God.
Original Entry Date 1/10/2016: The Way that I Love You ~
Dearest Papa God, I heard You speak to me this morning, desiring for me to write down one thing about You or a reason as to why I love You.
I love You because You show me, reveal to me, the spiritual truths that are hidden deep in Your Word. It’s Your way of sharing Yourself with me and it makes me feel super special.
No one has ever made me feel as special as You have, Dear Lord.
Original Entry Date 1/11/2016: God, I love You because You fill me with the joy of Your Presence. When I feel You close to me is when I am the most filled with Joy.
Be close to me today, Dear Jesus. I know You always are but I ask that You make Your Presence know to me. I cast off the weight of the day and I give it over to You.
Original Entry Date: 1/12/2016: I love You, Lord, because even when it feels as though You are far away, not looking, not taking any notice of me…I know what the truth is. You are right here with me.
Original Entry Date 1/13/2016: I love You, Lord, because even through frustrating times, You are my Rock.
You are who I lean against when times are tough. In these times I want to stop and lay down in my distress but You pick me up and stand me upright.
You keep me on solid ground rather than quicksand, where I would sink. Thank You, Papa God, for being my solid foundation.
