9/21/2022: Hey there! It has been a little while and honestly I wasn’t planning on posting anything until just a moment ago.
I found this journal entry of mine that I vaguelly recall writing, not sure exactly when. I thought it would be nice to share.
Apparently, I had just read something about bitterness in the heart but whatever I had been reading is not included. Still a nice read and rather revealing of how my heart has always been. And of course I know I still need alot of work. Enjoy!:

Not a Bible verse but reading this reminded me of the importance of not allowing bitterness to take root in your heart. It can be bitterness towards another person for betraying you or even being bitter towards yourself for ignoring those slight warning feelings. And by ignoring those feelings you walk right into it. Instead of viewing it in a negative light, such as believing yourself to be too gullible, emotionally immature, or that you've been victimized, let's look at the reason behind the blindness.

I think that we may ignore those feelings that something isn't right because we see only the good in that person. Even if we kind of already know that they aren't being totally authentic, there's just something beautiful that can be seen in every person.

I think that is something to really cherish in ourselves, to have the ability to see the goodness in a person even after a betrayal. To still love them and for that love to override the pain and you are able to let it go and to move on.

Perhaps you walked in blindly because you had compassion for the person because they were hurting. That's a beautiful thing so don't let bitterness ruin your compassionate heart!

I am very compassionate for people who have been betrayed, abandoned, and/or are very lonely. The world needs more compassion so don't lose it! Let's always be good to each other, always forgiving but we also need to learn from these situations by trusting our inner voice and removing ourselves from a situation where we are being hurt.

If this resonates with anyone, I want you to know that you are very valuable, even if you don't feel that you are, you are of great value because of the way you love and see the goodness in people, you have a childlike heart that hasn't been tainted by the bitterness that is running rampant in the world
I think you will enjoy these readings:: A Bitter Root

I am a gal who lives in the Bay Area, CA. This site is not meant to be about me but rather it is about what God has shown and continues to show me in His Word and when I am in prayer with Him. I hope these entries inspire you to seek His Face, He desires you to do so and even if you don't think so...it is also what your heart and soul have longed for since birth. Over the years I wrote down every sort of spiritual revelation that would pop out at me when reading the Bible. I thought to myself, "what do you want me to d with all this, Lord?" That's when it hit me! Why not start a blog and put everything He has given you on there. And so I did.
